Harris Sokoloff, Ph.D. is director of Catalyst Community Conversations at Penn’s Graduate School of Education and co-director and co-founder of the PA Project for Civic Engagement.
In those roles he has designed and implemented several hundred local, regional, national and international community dialogue and engagement projects. Sokoloff is an adjunct Associate Professor at Penn’s GSE and an Adjunct Lecturer in Penn’s Weitzman School of Design, and an Adjunct Lecturer in the Pennoni Honors College at Drexel University where he teaches courses on civil dialogue, negotiation, conflict resolution and community engagement.
He is also director emeritus of the Center for School Study Councils (CSSC) at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. In that role, he lead five professional learning communities of public school superintendents from PA, NJ and DE.
